Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to support the CS Operations team within Revenue Operations. In this role, you will work directly with the Manager of CS Operations to build, maintain, and analyze the data systems that power how Geotab manages retention, customer health, and expansion across its global customer base. If you love turning raw data into actionable insight and want hands-on experience with a real-world customer analytics problem, we would love to hear from you!

What you'll do:

As a Data Analytics Intern in CS Operations, you will support the design, validation, and maintenance of data pipelines and reporting models that drive how Geotab's Customer Success team operates. You will work closely with the Manager of CS Operations, the Revenue Operations Data & Analytics team, and the Salesforce Systems team. The successful candidate is a curious, detail-oriented problem solver who is comfortable with ambiguity, eager to learn, and can translate data into clear, useful outputs for both technical and non-technical audiences.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Collaborate with colleagues from the Revenue Operations Data & Analytics team and other business functions to drive customer success outcomes
  • Ensure data quality throughout all stages including data sourcing, normalization, transformation, and validation
  • Support data and analytics projects as directed by the supervisor, contributing to reporting, modeling, and data infrastructure work
  • Promote data-driven decision-making across the Customer Success team by translating data into clear, actionable outputs for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Provide leaders with data insights to support decisions and improve the consistency and usability of data across teams
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Pursuing a degree in STEM, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field of study in progress
  • Hands-on experience with SQL - ability to write, read, and debug queries independently
  • Exposure to Google BigQuery or a similar cloud data warehouse is a strong asset
  • Familiarity with Salesforce as a data source (report building, object structure) is an asset
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Superset, Tableau, or Looker
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data structuring
  • Strong analytical thinking - able to question data, spot anomalies, and communicate findings clearly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - you'll be sharing data outputs with non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-directed and comfortable working in a fast-moving, greenfield environment with evolving priorities
