THE ROLE:

GPU Technology & Engineering Operations Software Development Engineer 2

 

THE PERSON:

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Development Engineer with a degree in computer science.  Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science or IT are a bonus.  The ideal candidate has experience in programming, data analysis, and data visualization. You will work alongside our Program Management Operations team to assist with day to day operations, planning and execution of projects and initiatives, researching new technologies, and providing recommendations for improvement.  The ideal candidate is an independent individual who can perform as a team player, has a positive attitude, is self-motivated, and possesses the ability to work well within a team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting day-to-day operations initiatives using AI tools.
  • Creating and maintaining operations database systems, reports, and automation processes
  • Participating in team meetings and collaborating with other departments as needed
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of projects or activities as and when required
  • Conducting research on new technologies and providing recommendations for improvement

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Etc.), also Excel Power Query/DAX/MDX knowledge is a plus
  • Solid working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Proficiency and scripting skills in programming languages like Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React js 
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information accurately
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics, data warehouse concepts with cloud based data platform like Snowflake and ETL/KNIME are a plus
