Director of Analytics & Operations

Location: Jacksonville, FL | Newark, NJ | Remote Employment Type: Full-Time

National Recovery Associates (NRA) is seeking an experienced Director of Analytics & Operations to lead the strategy, reporting, and operational performance of our collections organization. This role is ideal for a leader who understands both collections operations and analytics. You'll develop KPIs, analyze portfolio performance, identify operational opportunities, and provide executive leadership with the insights needed to improve recovery results and client performance.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and oversee operational KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Analyze portfolio performance and recommend strategies to improve recovery results.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and operational risks through data analysis.
  • Partner with Operations to improve collector and team performance.
  • Present performance metrics and business insights to executive leadership and clients.
  • Support forecasting, capacity planning, and operational strategy.
  • Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, IT, Client Services, and Operations on strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA, and company policies.
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 8-10 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable management (ARM), financial services, or recovery operations.
  • Experience leading analytics, reporting, or operational performance initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of collections KPIs, portfolio performance, and operational metrics.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards and performance reporting.
  • Ability to turn complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA, and collections industry best practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience with debt buying, consumer collections, or legal collections.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience presenting performance results to executive leadership and clients.
