Job Title: Data Engineer (Tableau)

Location: Tampa, FL  

Years of Experience: 7-10 Years

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in data architecture and analytics, particularly with expertise in Tableau (Tableau Desktop & Tableau Prep Flow). The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions that drive business insights. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures to support data analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Utilize Tableau to create interactive dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Utilize Tableau PrepFlow to create/enhance,  efficient & scalable data pipeline.
  • Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across various data sources.
  • Optimize existing data processes and workflows for efficiency and performance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and visualization.
  • Mentor junior data engineers and provide guidance on best practices in data management and visualization.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong expertise in, Tableau Prep Flow & Tableau Desktop for data preparation, data visualization and dashboard creation.
  • Proficient in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep Flow, SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
