About this Opportunity:

At Regency Centers, our people are our greatest asset, and we believe that our highly skilled and talented team makes us better. We are seeking an Intern – Analytics to join our corporate office located in Jacksonville, Florida during the spring of 2027. This internship will provide exposure to several key areas of commercial real estate through hands-on experience and training in the following functions: Analytics, Business Planning (FP&A), Accounting & Reporting, and Capital Markets. Assignments given will include a mix of performing daily tasks while shadowing one or more experienced accounting, finance and/or real estate professionals and working to identify process improvements or product enhancements through the application of analytic tools (e.g. automation, dashboards). This internship will involve working approximately 20 hours per week (in person in our Jacksonville office) for the duration of a university semester. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable industry exposure, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment. In addition to gaining practical experience, high-performing interns may be considered for a full-time position upon successful completion of the internship, subject to business needs.

 

 

Key Responsibilities/Projects May Include:

  • Identify opportunities for process efficiencies or enhancements, including utilization of Power Automate or similar tools
  • Enhance reporting and analysis of Company KPIs through development of analytical models, including recommendations for visualizations or analytical tools including interactive dashboards.
  • Provide recommendations for machine learning techniques and building predictive models for decision-making and financial/operational reporting
  • Conclude the internship by delivering a final presentation that highlights your top business case recommendation and its potential impact for Regency Centers.

Qualifications:

Required:

 

  • Must be a student in good standing enrolled in Masters’ degree classes
  • GPA of at least 3.0 at the time of application
  • Intermediate level proficiency or higher with current Microsoft Office software (including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint), email, and internet research functionality
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Proficient in SQL Server with experience writing and troubleshooting basic queries
  • Ability to learn new programs and software quickly
  • Ability to work 20 hours a week, with at least three days of the week in our Jacksonville office (Monday and Tuesday required in office)

  • Passion for data science and delivering data-driven outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of Machine Learning concepts and tools
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis
  • Familiarity with Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google etc.) platforms
  • Be enrolled in an industry-related degree program such as Business Analytics, Real Estate or Business Administration
  • Completion of real estate and/or business/finance courses
