Regional Medical Director - Orlando, FL $300K+

A growing, mission driven healthcare organization focused on value based primary care for seniors is seeking a Regional Medical Director to provide clinical leadership across multiple care centers in the Orlando region. This physician leadership role focuses on improving clinical outcomes, supporting provider development, and driving high quality, patient centered care.

The Regional Medical Director will oversee a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants while partnering closely with operational leadership to ensure consistent, evidence based care and strong clinical performance across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for multiple care centers

  • Lead, mentor, and support physicians, APRNs, and PAs

  • Drive improvements in quality metrics including HEDIS, Star Ratings, and risk adjustment

  • Reduce avoidable hospitalizations and support effective medical cost management

  • Partner with operational leadership to align clinical and business goals

  • Analyze clinical performance data and implement quality improvement initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and clinical best practices

  • Develop strong relationships with hospitals, SNFs, and community providers

Qualifications
  • Physician with leadership experience preferred

  • Experience in Medicare Advantage or value based care environments

  • Strong understanding of medical cost management and quality metrics

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary provider teams
  • Spanish Speaking Required
