2025 Investment Product Analysis & Communications (INPAC) Program

Program Purpose:

T. Rowe Price's Investment Product Analyst & Communications (INPAC) Rotational Program offers recent college undergraduate students an exciting opportunity to grow a career and thrive in the asset management industry. In this rotational program, INPAC Associates will receive comprehensive training, mentoring and experience performing tasks across our sales, marketing, product and portfolio analysis groups. Successful Associates will be matched with available full-time opportunities after completion of the program.

Principal Responsibilities:

As a part of the INPAC Program, you will rotate approximately every 6 months for up to 2 years within the following departments with a focus on developing investment, product, and client knowledge, analytical skills, and communication skills. These cross-functional rotations provide broad exposure to many aspects of the business, providing insight into the investment and client support process.

  • Investments - Portfolio and Competitive Analysis

  • Product - Asset Class and Vehicle Product Management

  • Distribution (Sales and Marketing) - Investment & Market Insights

  • Distribution (Sales and Marketing) - Sales & Client Service

Responsibilities within rotation assignments may include:

  • Provide analytical and data support for assigned investment strategies including attribution analysis, market trends, portfolio statistics

  • Create and update client presentation materials

  • Participate in investment product health checks and capacity monitoring process

  • Assist with new product pipeline development

  • Support senior client service and/or sales professionals with client/prospect meetings, client accounts, and client questions

  • Research, analyze and synthesize U.S. Intermediary client data in support of business strategy projects

  • Contribute to team based internal consulting projects focused on product management and client targeting

Required Qualifications:

  • Full time student pursing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date of December 2024 - May/June 2025 with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

  • Demonstrated analytical experience using Excel and creating presentations in PowerPoint

  • Minimum of 24 credit hours in related courses: Communications, Economics, Finance, Marketing, etc (open to various majors)

  • Strong interpersonal skills; both written and verbal

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems

  • Sophisticated critical thinking skills

  • Interest in investing and following the markets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to process a variety of information and quickly draw relevant conclusions and summarize results

  • Ability to learn proprietary & third-party applications (e.g., Office, Morningstar, etc.)

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to two days per week from home.
