Job Description
Data Readiness Analyst II, Archer Daniels Midland Company, Erlanger, KY. Partner with Solution Delivery
and Data Readiness teams to ensure data design and implementation align with business requirements.
Oversee functional data migration activities to SAP S/4HANA, collaborating with Data Developers who
utilize SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) to design and execute extraction, transformation, and
loading (ETL) workflows. Review and validate BODS jobs developed by Data Developers for data cleansing,
enrichment, and validation. Create and maintain validation scripts to be used during mock conversion
cycles. Monitor the progress of data cleansing activities, using SAP Information Steward to track data
quality metrics, identify gaps, and ensure cleansing aligns with project timelines. Use SAP HANA for data
modeling, staging, and validation adhering to the Solution Delivery team's target system specifications.
Coordinate pre- and post-load data validation, leveraging validation scripts, securing approvals,
documenting results and defects for SAP S/4HANA go-live. Develop and document functional data
migration plan, validation scripts, and data construction plans. Actively engage Business data
validators/approvers, systems analysts, data readiness functional analysts, and related work streams.
Validate and monitor data quality, ensuring compliance with business requirements and data governance
standards.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business
or a related field, and two (2) years of related work experience.
Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:
• SAP ECC/S/4HANA for data modeling, staging, validation, and quality monitoring in migration and
data quality projects;
• Data Migration processes, collaborating with Data Developers and the Solution Delivery team to
define ETL requirements for business-driven data migration;
• Creating and maintaining validation scripts for data migration, particularly for mock conversion
cycles in SAP S/4HANA projects;
• Collaborating with Data Cleansers and business stakeholders to ensure constructed data is
completed and approved for mock conversion cycles; and
• SAP Information Steward or other Data Quality tools for defining data quality rules, monitoring
data quality, and overseeing data cleansing activities to support SAP S/4HANA implementations.
Must have one (1) year of experience with/in:
• SAP.
Telecommuting is permitted one (1) day per week.
Up to 20% regional or domestic travel required.
