Job description

TITLE: Data Analyst - Flow Measurement & Analytics Coordinator
LOCATION: Houston, TX
TYPE: Contract
RATE: $62.00 - $69.00 per hour
SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Flow Measurement & Analytics Coordinator to support FlowCal and measurement integration efforts through process documentation, analytics development, and crossteam coordination. This role partners closely with measurement leadership to improve workflows, implement new policies, and develop dashboards and KPIs. The coordinator may also provide handson support to measurement analysts as needed.
DUTIES:

  • Document and standardize current measurement processes and procedures across legacy assets
  • Help evaluate, improve, and document new measurement workflows and solutions
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical tools using Spotfire and/or Power BI
  • Support KPI development and tracking as directed by measurement leadership
  • Provide backup support to measurement analysts when needed, including exception resolution and data validation
  • Assist with FlowCal module support, facility balancing, and volume reconciliation
  • Communicate with field personnel to address meter corrections or data issues
  • Help ensure measurement data is accurate, timely, and compliant with internal standards and regulations
  • Support monthend close activities and crossfunctional measurement initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1+ year of experience in measurement operations, production, revenue accounting, or a related role
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (Spotfire and/or Power BI)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3+ years of experience working with FlowCal
  • Strong understanding of gas and liquid measurement principles and equipment
  • Experience working with SCADA data and data warehouse tools (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Familiarity with meter proving, calibration data, and sample analysis
  • Detailoriented with strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data, resolve discrepancies, and support process improvements
