Position Title: Data Coordinator

Department: CalAIM

Reports To: CalAIM Associate Director

*This is an onsite position*

POSITION SUMMARY

The Data Coordinator position conducts advanced research and data analysis for the purpose of quality assurance and quality improvement. In addition, the position requires trend data analysis for key internal programs and management decision-making.

HOURS

40 per week, Monday - Friday.

CATEGORIES OF DUTIES

1. Perform exploratory analysis on large amounts of client data.

2. Compile data and apply statistical analysis to answer business questions.

3. Develop routine and ad-hoc reports to address corporate reporting needs.

4. Synthesize results of the analyses, make recommendations, and assist in presenting findings to top management.

5. Respond to data requests and provide interpretations of data.

6. Design and develop data collection instruments.

7. Conduct research and track health outcomes to support quality improvement initiatives.

8. Implement and maintain efficient data management procedures and protocols.

9. Explore and support the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to increase staff efficiency and enhance the overall quality of care.

10. Schedule, plan and coordinate activities within established timeframes and deadlines for assigned projects.

11. Write, review, and maintain documents including monthly reports or ad hoc reports.

12. Collaborate on a professional level with management and staff regarding research and data analysis.

13. Perform additional duties as required or requested.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Master’s degree and 3 years of experience in a healthcare management field or equivalent experience in data management, qualitative and quantitative research, survey design and program development. Advanced software skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SQL. Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills.
