Job Overview: Certified Journeyman Pipefitter - Installs, maintains and labels plumbing and mechanical piping systems, fixtures and equipment.

  • Shift Premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts

What you drive at DTNA
  • The primary responsibilities of the journeypersons of the pipefitter trade are as follows: Installation, maintenance, rebuild and repair of pumps, valves, air cylinders, air starters and vacuum pumps. Fabrication and installation of exhaust pipe, including flex tubing and fittings. Installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing, paint, sewage, washer and jet, probe tips, pneumatic, steam, condensate, natural gas, water, hydronic, drainage, liquid nitrogen, exhaust, air and waste piping systems.
  • Responsible for non-proprietary fire suppression and sprinkler systems.
  • Identification and insulation of pipe systems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain coolant systems including powder, paper rolls and system checks.
  • Responsible for facilities system check route including sumps, interceptors, jockey and booster pumps and logs. Inspection of clarifier and diversion manhole.
  • Installation, test, maintenance and repair of all back flow prevention devices as licensing permits.
  • Common lifting, transport of trade specific material.

  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service Strong Computer/Software skills including M/S Office, Prism Willingness to be cross-functionally trained Ability to work any shift assigned
  • Ability to work effectively with production teams, engineering, service technicians and management staff Additional Information
