Description

"Second to None...Since 1901"

At Wolfer's, we've spent over 120 years building a company that treats people right-our customers and our employees. Now, we're excited to welcome a new Dispatcher to our growing family in Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical services. If you're a high performer with an A-player mentality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently manage multiple priorities at once, this is a role where you'll shine.

What's in it for you?

  • Competitive pay ($22-$27/hr.) plus bonuses
  • Full-time, steady hours - no surprises, no chaos in your schedule
  • Weekly paychecks every Friday
  • Paid time off that starts accruing from day one
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family
  • 401(k) with company match - let's grow your future
  • 6 paid holidays to relax and recharge
  • Ongoing training from industry pros who want to see you succeed

What you'll do:

You'll be the friendly, organized force that keeps our technicians on schedule and our customers taken care of in a fast-moving environment.

  • Manage the dispatch board to help technicians stay productive and on track.
  • Debrief technicians after their calls and help ensure smooth communication.
  • Call customers to confirm and schedule service or install appointments - with warmth and professionalism.
  • Build genuine rapport with customers and deliver top-quality support.
  • Review invoices created by each technician and make sure everything is accurate.
  • Support accounting tasks by organizing and grouping department invoices daily.
  • Pull permits and help schedule inspections after jobs are wrapped up.
  • Jump in to help other departments when needed - teamwork truly matters here.

Requirements

 Who we are looking for:

  • You bring an A-player mentality - you take ownership, solve problems quickly, and look for ways to raise the standard every day.
  • You are a high performer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to stay productive without sacrificing accuracy.
  • You are a master multitasker who can juggle calls, scheduling, technician support, customer communication, and administrative tasks without losing focus.
  • You follow processes that help the team run efficiently and consistently.
  • You show up on time, ready to go, and dependable for your assigned schedule Tuesday through Saturday only.
  • You're comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • You're tech-friendly and comfortable with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • You communicate clearly - whether on the phone, in person, or over email.
  • You're organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize competing tasks throughout the day.
  • You work well under pressure, adapt quickly, and stay focused when things get busy.
  • You're reliable, hardworking, and committed to getting things done right the first time.
  • Dispatch experience (2+ years) is a strong plus, but not required.
  • Able to pass a background check.
