JOB SUMMARY:
Dispatch supports daily Pickup and Delivery operations by coordinating driver dispatch activities to ensure timely, safe, and efficient service. This role focuses on execution, communication, and operational support while adapting to changing priorities that impact safety, service, and productivity. Serves as a knowledgeable resource for dispatch systems and technologies, helping ensure accurate load assignment, routing, and communication
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring optimal routing and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and track vehicles in real-time, providing updates to drivers and clients.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, addressing any issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery times, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Work closely with logistics and operations teams to optimize processes.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service to clients.
  • Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the transportation process.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist with the planning and forecasting of transportation needs.
  • Utilize dispatch software and technology to enhance operational efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
