Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Dental Hygienist who is passionate about patient care and oral health. In this role, you will be an essential part of our team—providing thorough cleanings, educating patients on preventive dental care, and supporting our commitment to excellence in every aspect of treatment. If you're dedicated to making patients feel comfortable and cared for, we’d love to meet you!
Duties
• Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
• Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Record and maintain accurate medical records of patient treatments and progress.
• Assist with the management of patient appointments and ensure a smooth flow of operations within the dental office.
• Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Skills
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and the dental team.
• Experience in dental assisting is preferred, with familiarity in using dental office software such as Eaglesoft being a plus.
• Proficient in maintaining medical records accurately while ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Demonstrated ability to perform vital signs assessments as part of patient evaluations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort during visits.

Salary Range

Full-time $58 - $70 per hour
