What You Will Do:
Senior Consultant
We are seeking a Senior Consultant with strong Epic and/or Meditech revenue cycle expertise to support implementation and optimization projects for healthcare clients. This role requires hands-on experience across the revenue cycle spectrum-from front-end patient access through back-end billing and collections-with the ability to independently deliver workstreams and contribute to client success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and optimize Epic and/or Meditech revenue cycle applications across front-end, middle, and back-end functions
  • Support multiple concurrent Epic and/or Meditech implementation or optimization projects
  • Analyze current-state workflows and recommend Epic/Meditech-enabled solutions
  • Build and test Epic and/or Meditech configurations including Patient Access, HIM, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and Resolute applications
  • Conduct end-user training sessions and develop training materials
  • Document technical specifications, workflows, and system configurations
  • Collaborate with project teams, client staff, and technical resources
  • Support go-live activities including command center support and issue resolution
  • Identify and resolve system issues, working with vendor and internal technical teams as needed
  • Contribute to knowledge management and best practice documentation

Managing Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Managing Consultant to lead Epic/Meditech revenue cycle implementations and optimization projects. This role requires comprehensive expertise across the entire revenue cycle continuum, from patient access and registration through claims management and collections, with the ability to guide teams and drive strategic solutions for healthcare organizations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Epic/Meditech revenue cycle implementation and optimization projects across front-end, middle, and back-end functions
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on revenue cycle workflows, best practices, and Epic/Meditech system configurations
  • Manage project teams, timelines, deliverables, and client relationships
  • Design and implement solutions spanning Patient Access, HIM, HB (Hospital Billing), PB (Professional Billing), Resolute, and related Epic applications
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of current-state processes and develop future-state recommendations
  • Mentor and develop junior consultants and team members
  • Facilitate workshops with client stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Ensure successful go-lives and post-implementation support
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and measurable outcomes

What You Will Need:
Senior Consultant
Education
  • Minimum of Associate's degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred)

Experience
  • 4+ years of Epic/Meditech revenue cycle experience in an implementation, optimization, or analyst capacity
  • Hands-on configuration experience with Epic/Meditech revenue cycle applications
  • Working knowledge across front-end (registration, scheduling, pre-authorization), middle (charge capture, coding), and back-end (billing, collections, denials) revenue cycle functions
  • Experience supporting at least one full Epic/Meditech implementation or significant optimization project

Technical Skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Epic revenue cycle applications including Cadence, Prelude, Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, and/or Revenue Guardian and/or Meditech Expanse, Meditech Dream
  • Understanding of revenue cycle workflows, healthcare reimbursement models, and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with Epic/Meditech reporting and analytics tools
  • Ability to configure Epic/Meditech workflows, rules, and system settings

Travel Requirements
  • Travel up to 50% based on client and project needs

Managing Consultant
Education
  • Minimum of Associate's degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred)

Experience
  • 7+ years of Epic and/or Meditech revenue cycle experience in a consulting, implementation, or leadership capacity
  • Demonstrated expertise across front-end (registration, scheduling, pre-authorization), middle (charge capture, HIM/coding), and back-end (billing, collections, denials management) revenue cycle functions
  • Proven track record of successfully leading multiple Epic/Meditech implementations or optimization projects
  • Experience managing teams and client relationships in a consulting environment

Technical Skills
  • Deep knowledge of Epic and/or Meditech revenue cycle applications including Cadence, Prelude, Revenue Guardian, Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, and related modules
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows, healthcare reimbursement, and regulatory compliance (including HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines)
  • Proficiency with Epic reporting tools (Cogito, SlicerDicer, Reporting Workbench)

Travel Requirements
  • Travel up to 50-75% based on client needs

What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Bachelors degree strongly preferred
  • Epic certification in one or more revenue cycle applications (Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Cadence, Prelude, Revenue Guardian, or HIM)
  • Experience with Epic Tapestry, Welcome, or Claims and Remittance applications
  • Knowledge of payer contracting and denial management strategies
  • Experience with Epic upgrades and application updates
  • Consulting or client-facing experience

The annual salary range for this position is $102,000.00-$170,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
