Job description

Huron helps its clients drive growth, enhance performance and sustain leadership in the markets they serve. We help healthcare organizations build innovation capabilities and accelerate key growth initiatives, enabling organizations to own the future, instead of being disrupted by it. Together, we empower clients to create sustainable growth, optimize internal processes and deliver better consumer outcomes.
Health systems, hospitals and medical clinics are under immense pressure to improve clinical outcomes and reduce the cost of providing patient care. Investing in new partnerships, clinical services and technology is not enough to create meaningful and substantive change. To succeed long-term, healthcare organizations must empower leaders, clinicians, employees, affiliates and communities to build cultures that foster innovation to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
Joining the Huron team means you'll help our clients evolve and adapt to the rapidly changing healthcare environment and optimize existing business operations, improve clinical outcomes, create a more consumer-centric healthcare experience, and drive physician, patient and employee engagement across the enterprise.
Join our team as the expert you are now and create your future.
At Huron, an Associate leads with expertise and collaboration, partnering with Huron and client leaders to create sustainable solutions that drive meaningful results. As an Associate with our Healthcare Mid Revenue Cycle Analytics team, you will lead one or more project work streams utilizing Huron approaches and methodologies, helping clients solve business challenges to advance their financial and operational outcomes.
You will work on varied analytics driven projects, gaining hands on experience in healthcare data analysis, insight development, and consulting delivery while positively impacting mission driven healthcare organizations. The Mid Revenue Cycle Analytics team serves as a centralized analytics function, supporting consulting delivery by designing scalable analytics, standardized reporting, and actionable insights across Service Capture, Clinical Documentation & Coding, and Managed Care.
Your role will foster a supportive, inclusive environment, empowering collaboration across analytics, consulting, and technology teams. You will build critical problem solving and communication skills to grow your career and mentor junior Huron staff. This allows you to make an impact and provides career opportunities both within and beyond your areas of expertise. If you're passionate about using analytics to drive meaningful improvement in healthcare, Huron offers a rewarding path forward.
As the Healthcare Consulting Associate in Mid Revenue Cycle Analytics, you will:
  • Design, develop, and execute healthcare data analyses supporting mid-revenue cycle consulting services, including Service Capture, Clinical Documentation & Coding, and Managed Care
  • Apply critical thinking and advanced analytical techniques across multiple data sources to identify performance trends, diagnose issues, uncover risks, and develop sustainable, implementable recommendations
  • Perform centralized, repeatable analytical processes including data mapping, validation, standardization, quality assurance, and ad-hoc querying across complex datasets
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret healthcare data from Huron's analytics platform to generate actionable performance insights
  • Design and build data visualizations, dashboards, and standardized reports to support consulting delivery and client decision-making
  • Package analytical insights into clear, client-ready deliverables, effectively presenting findings, risks, and recommendations to varying levels of Huron and client leadership
  • Contribute to the development of next-generation metrics, insights, and analytical capabilities within Huron's analytics platform
  • Partner with functional, technical, and analytics stakeholders to implement new technologies and enhance analytical processes
  • Deliver analytics-enabled solutions tailored to each client's unique needs, improving impact and accessibility across healthcare services

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
