Job Summary

The Junior Recruiter supports the full recruitment lifecycle, with a focus on sourcing, screening, and engaging candidates for IT, Cybersecurity, and other technical positions. The role also supports talent-pipeline development, recruiting coordination, candidate records, career fairs, and relationships with hiring managers and candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support full-cycle recruiting from requisition intake through onboarding.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, job boards, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Recruit candidates for IT, Cybersecurity, and other technical positions.
  • Review resumes and screen candidates based on job requirements.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Prepare candidate profiles and resumes for presentation.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in ATS systems.
  • Support proposal and business-development recruiting efforts.
  • Coordinate offer letters, onboarding, and new-hire orientation.
  • Coordinate with security personnel regarding clearance requirements and candidate processing.
  • Assist with employee referral programs.
  • Participate in career fairs, networking events, and recruiting activities.
  • Use social media and digital recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines.
  • Develop professional relationships with candidates, hiring managers, universities, professional organizations, and recruiting partners.
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing.
  • Experience sourcing and screening IT, Cybersecurity, or technical candidates.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting platforms.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • SmartRecruiters experience highly preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity recruiting concepts.
  • Ability to evaluate resumes against technical job requirements.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
