Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Manager to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. The Cyber Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing the security of our organization's computer systems and networks. This includes implementing security measures, monitoring for potential threats, and responding to security incidents.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits
  • Monitor network traffic for potential security breaches
  • Establish and coordinate the agency Cybersecurity Response Team (CRT) to respond to a cybersecurity incident.
  • Coordination of Information Technology Disaster Recovery planning in support of the agency Continuity of Operations Plan.
  • Serving as the agency’s internal and external point of contact for all information security matters.
  • Establish and provide reports directly to the agency head on matters associated with cybersecurity, audits, compliance, and other-directed matters.
  • Respond to security incidents in a timely manner
  • Manage a team of security professionals
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber security trends and technologies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cyber security
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred
  • Foundational understanding on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity framework
  • Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and firewalls
