About the role:
The Cybersecurity Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the Solesis security infrastructure. This includes ensuring that the appropriate security infrastructure is in place and is properly managed and maintained. The Cybersecurity Administrator collaborates with other members of the IT team to protect the organization's data, computer systems and networks. The role includes leading risk mitigation efforts, sourcing cybersecurity tools, implementing cybersecurity solutions, handling security incidents, training end-users and IT staff on cybersecurity best practices and creating cybersecurity policies and procedures.
What you will do:
  • Documenting security standards and best practices.
  • Documenting compliance issues.
  • Drafting and implementing organizational cyber security policies.
  • Working with team to ensure secure network design and architecture.
  • Recommending security enhancements.
  • Identifying appropriate security tools (SOC, EDR, MDR, etc.).
  • Hands-on implementation of security solutions.
  • Testing security solutions.
  • Regularly monitoring security tool logs and events for unusual activity and communicating findings to technical staff.
  • Responsible for performing risk assessments, penetration tests and remediations.
  • Responsible for vulnerability and patch management/mitigation.
  • Responsible for developing, updating, and testing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Leading incident response teams (investigate, respond and report).
  • Responsible for identity and access management.
  • Develop and lead security end-user training process.
  • Develop technical training plan for IT team members regarding new security policies and procedures.
  • Develop cybersecurity training programs for all end users.
  • Develop appropriate security KPI's.
  • Develop cybersecurity team based on organizational needs.
  • Act as the Solesis Data Protection Officer (DPO) - data classification and loss protection.
  • Serves as IT lead on the disaster recovery teams.

Who you are:
  • Four-year college or university program degree in Information Technology.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as:
    • ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
    • ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Cybersecurity Administrator.
  • Experience working in a Medical/Manufacturing environment is a plus.
