CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cx Engineer to join our Generation & Energy Management Team in Albany, NY or Syracuse, NY. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects, work alongside multidisciplinary specialists, and help advance solutions for high‑demand environments and next‑generation technology facilities.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for innovative energy projects
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
  • Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues for clients in manufacturing, advanced technology, and energy sectors
  • Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
  • Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
  • Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:

$105,000 - $115,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
