Job Description:

Assist in the adoption of our EV trucks by providing support to the sales staff while delivering the best customer experience in the industry. You will support the RSMs (Regional Sales Managers) in your territory with daily activities to drive revenue growth and efficiency. This will require someone to be able to identify, adapt, and drive outcomes through excellent communication and organization. You will provide support throughout the entire life cycle of a customer, helping drive repeat business and a great brand experience.

Core Responsibilities include the following:

  • Be a key point of contact for the customers and sales teams you support.
  • Contact potential and current customers via phone and email to assist with inquiries.
  • Obtain pertinent information from potential customers to help qualify needs.
  • Maintain a database of customers and relevant documents and update customer records based on interactions from yourself and the RSMs youโ€™re supporting.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving product and industry.
  • Maintain an accessible and organized filing system for sales territory.
  • Handle administrative duties for the sales team, including scheduling client conference calls and meetings, putting together presentations, and reporting on metrics and data.
  • Perform data entry duties regarding metrics, sales figures, and other key data.
  • Help process quotes, build presentation decks, gather, and format relevant documents, and input customer order information.
  • Coordinate through the separate phases such as demo, production, deployment, and service.
  • Coordinate transportation and invoicing for demo trucks ensuring excellent communication through the process.
  • Assist in the closing process and delivery of a sold truck with consistent branded customer experience.
  • Be responsible for data integrity within our different systems the RSMs use.

Required Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Support professional with qualifications that include:

  • 2 to 4 years of related job experience, supporting a sales team in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to deliver high standards of customer service and build rapport with clients.
  • Strong customer communication and follow-up skills.
  • Positive and professional demeanor on the phone.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools, Salesforce preferred.
  • Confidence and poise to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel experience
  • Proactive and takes charge to drive and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Prior experience in sales.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks and priorities effectively.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt effectively in fast-paced environments with shifting demands.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with the transportation and/or manufacturing industry.

  • Exposure to incentive or credit programs.

The role will be based full-time in our Kansas City, KS office (not a remote role).
