What is a customer success operations analyst?

Customer Success Operations Analysts are professionals who support customer success teams by optimizing processes, analyzing data, and implementing tools to improve customer experience and retention. They work behind the scenes to ensure that the customer success team operates efficiently, using insights from data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Their responsibilities may include creating reports, managing customer success software, and developing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. By bridging the gap between data analysis and customer-facing teams, they help drive overall company growth.

How does a customer success operations analyst typically collaborate with customer success managers and other departments?

A Customer Success Operations Analyst works closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to streamline processes, analyze customer data, and provide actionable insights that help improve customer satisfaction and retention. Analysts often serve as a bridge between CSMs and departments like Sales, Product, and Marketing by sharing data-driven recommendations and helping to implement scalable solutions. Collaboration usually involves regular meetings, reporting on key metrics, and supporting the adoption of new tools or workflows. This cross-functional teamwork ensures that customer success strategies are aligned with broader business goals and that teams are equipped with the information needed to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a customer success operations analyst, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Customer Success Operations Analyst, you need strong analytical skills, experience with data management, and a background in business or related fields. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, data visualization tools like Tableau, and proficiency in Excel or SQL are typically required. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills help you work effectively with cross-functional teams and translate data insights into actionable strategies. These abilities are crucial for optimizing customer success processes, driving retention, and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Through our innovative Healthcare Operations Platform, we're connecting data to unlock trusted insights that enable improved decision-making and help deliver safer healthcare for all.
Job Description
RLDatix (RLD) is on a mission to help raise the standard of care...everywhere. Trusted by over 10,000 healthcare organizations around the world, our solutions help improve health and care. Our applications ensure that patients receive the best and safest care while supporting the providers who deliver it.
Joining TeamRLD means being part of a global effort of over 2,000 team members in making a difference in healthcare...every day.
We're searching for a US-based Customer Success Manager to join our Patient Experience & Growth team in Lehi, Utah, so that we can help healthcare customers realize value from our solutions while driving retention, adoption, engagement, and account growth. The Customer Success Manager will own a portfolio of named, higher-value accounts (approximately 50 to 75, depending on complexity), serving as the primary relationship owner, advocate, and internal quarterback to build trusted relationships, identify risks early, and uncover expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
How You'll Spend Your Time

  • Own a portfolio of assigned customer accounts and drive retention by proactively managing adoption, engagement, account health, and renewal risk
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, including upsell and cross-sell signals, and partner with sales teams in order to progress qualified opportunities
  • Lead regular customer touchpoints, including check-ins, business reviews, training conversations, and issue resolution, to help customers understand performance, outcomes, and value from RLDatix Patient Experience & Growth solutions
  • Analyze customer data, usage, feedback, and business goals in order to guide account planning, stay close to customer risks, and coordinate proactive action plans that improve retention
  • Partner cross-functionally with implementation, support, sales, product, and leadership teams to coordinate customer needs, resolve issues, and manage competing priorities across a multi-account portfolio
What Kind of Things We're Most Interested in You Having
  • 3+ years of direct Customer Success experience, ideally within SaaS, healthcare technology, marketing technology, or a related environment
  • Proven success owning a customer book of business and independently driving retention, engagement, adoption, and account growth across multiple stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge on how to translate product capabilities and customer data into clear business value, and how to manage a high-volume portfolio without losing sight of risks, follow-ups, or opportunities
  • Ability to work on-site in Lehi, Utah on a daily basis (candidates must be local to Utah; this role is not currently planned as remote or relocation-based)
  • Sincere interest in helping healthcare organizations attract, engage, and retain patients; experience with healthcare SaaS, marketing technology, reputation management, marketing attribution, or call tracking is a plus, as is comfort using AI-enabled workflows
  • A knack for working cross-functionally with sales, support, implementation, product, and leadership teams, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce

By enabling flexibility in how we work and prioritizing employee wellness, we empower our team to do and be their best. Our benefits package includes health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 401K, paid time off, and paid holidays.
RLDatix is an equal opportunity employer, and our employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, national origin, disability, handicap, marital status or any other status or condition protected by Federal and/or State laws.
As part of RLDatix's commitment to the inclusion of all qualified individuals, we ensure that persons with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation in the job application and interview process. If reasonable accommodation is needed to participate in either step, please don't hesitate to send a note to accessibility@rldatix.com.
