Service Writer Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Writer. The Service Writer will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating all communication between customers and our service department to ensure a seamless and efficient service experience.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with scheduling service appointments, explaining services, and answering any questions they may have
- Communicate with technicians to determine the scope of work needed for each service appointment
- Create accurate and detailed service orders for each customer, including estimates and timelines for completion
- Follow up with customers throughout the service process to provide updates and address any concerns
- Coordinate with parts department to ensure necessary parts are ordered and available for each service appointment
- Collect payment and process invoices for completed services
- Maintain accurate records of all service appointments, invoices, and customer communications
- Ensure all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
