Order Processing Associate

People Architects is partnering with a highly respected, design-driven organization to hire an Order Processing Associate. Position Summary:

The Order Processing Associate is a non-exempt position that reports to the Director of Operations. This role is responsible for accurately entering, reviewing, and processing customer orders, remakes, and sample requests. The Associate ensures timely communication of order status to the customer service team and supports smooth coordination between factories, the warehouse, and production teams.

Schedule: This role works 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Monday-Friday onsite.

Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties as assigned. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.)

  • Enter and process sales and purchase orders in the e-PIC system.
  • Confirm sales orders to customers and send purchase orders to factories.
  • Process remakes and place parts and sample orders for the warehouse.
  • Monitor and update the status of unshipped orders; provide updates to the customer service team.
  • Enter tracking numbers and mark sales orders as shipped.
  • Verify accuracy of order prices and costs.
  • Review customer-entered orders for errors or discrepancies and escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain e-PIC product information as directed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the operations team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in order processing, data entry, or related administrative role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Basic math and analytical skills.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with ERP or order management systems highly preferred.
