Our team is growing, and we’re excited to welcome a new Reception & Customer Service professional to our office! With our current receptionist moving into a new internal role, we’re looking for someone who can step in as the warm, welcoming face of our organization.

Position Overview:
A successful Desjardins Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team for the role of Receptionist. We seek an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience. If you are a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, then this is your opportunity for a rewarding career with excellent income and growth potential. If you don't have insurance experience, that is ok, we will teach you.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, customer support, and client management.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
  • Proactive in problem-solving
  • Dedicated to customer service
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Prior to start, selected candidate will have to obtain Other Than Life (OTL) Property and Casualty Certification

Compensation:

  • $45,000 base salary + bonus
