About the Role

We are seeking a Food Safety and Quality Control Customer Relations Coordinator to join our team at our Los Angeles, CA office. As a Food Safety and Quality Control Customer Relations Coordinator, you will be accountable for delivering exceptional customer experiences through the effective management of product complaints and inquiries while ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution. This role is vital to protecting consumer trust, supporting food safety and quality initiatives, and strengthening Aspire Bakeries' reputation for excellence. This role requires you to be onsite in Los Angeles, CA four days per week, giving you hands-on collaboration with the team and daily exposure to the pulse of the business.

Compensation Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $23.00

Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing)
  • Manage customer complaints and inquiries to ensure accurate intake, documentation, and case resolution.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through professional, empathetic, and timely communication.
  • Maintain data integrity within the Emplifi Customer Relations database, ensuring accurate case management and reporting.
  • Analyze customer feedback and complaint trends to support food safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate thorough investigations and timely corrective actions.
  • Develop expertise in Aspire Bakeries products, manufacturing processes, allergen information, and product specifications.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation that support departmental objectives and regulatory compliance.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in consumer affairs, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and basic mathematical skills.
  • Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), data analysis, and charting techniques.
  • Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) and experience with database or data entry applications.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Science, or a related field.
  • Experience using customer complaint management or consumer relations database systems.
  • Food manufacturing, food safety, or quality assurance industry experience.
  • Experience working in a consumer affairs or customer relations environment.
  • Bilingual communication skills.
