Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Program Manager (Automotive) to lead LiDAR program execution with leading OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in North America. This role serves as the operational and strategic bridge between customers and internal teams—ensuring flawless project delivery, alignment across engineering and commercial functions, and successful commercialization of LiDAR solutions for ADAS and next-generation vehicle platforms.

👉 Note: This is a highly technical and cross-functional role. Please do not apply if you lack solid program management or product experience in the automotive or related technology fields. We value doers who can connect engineering, business, and customer needs seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end customer programs from RFQ to SOP, including schedule, quality, cost, and change management.
  • Serve as the primary interface for OEM and Tier 1 customers, driving communication and alignment between global engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
  • Lead cross-functional program reviews, issue tracking, and risk mitigation to ensure timely launch and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate technical milestones such as DV/PV validation, PPAP, and production readiness with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to identify new opportunities and support business expansion.
  • Facilitate seamless collaboration between North America, China, and global headquarters for engineering changes, production ramp-up, and logistics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of automotive program management experience, ideally with a Tier 1 supplier or system integrator.
  • Strong understanding of ADAS, LiDAR, Infotainment, or Connectivity system programs.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-site projects.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus for collaboration with global engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiar with automotive development processes (APQP, PPAP, A-SPICE, ISO 26262).
  • Experience managing OEM programs (e.g., GM, Ford, Stellantis, Lucid, Rivian, Tesla, VW, etc.).
  • Background in sensor, ECU, or perception technology integration.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary starting from $110,000 annually, with performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including:
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays)
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Employee wellness and learning programs
  • Career growth opportunities in a fast-scaling global automotive technology company.
