Manthei Wood Products in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin is looking for a PART TIME Business Operations Associate who thrives on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes -someone who loves checklists, communicates clearly, and brings a customer-first mindset to everything they do.
In this role, you'll support our leadership, HR, safety, logistics, and production teams with essential administrative tasks, data entry, and coordination. If you're the type who notices the small things and keeps the big picture in focus, we want to hear from you!

Part-time, Monday - Thursday, approximate hours of 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (open to adjusting start and end times)
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  1. Administrative Support:
    1. Assist management with day-to-day administrative tasks
    2. Prepare and maintain reports, records, and documentation
    3. Help coordinate internal communications
  2. HR Coordination:
    1. Assist with onboarding, orientation, and documentation for new hires
    2. Maintain employee records and support HR compliance efforts
    3. Help facilitate internal communication and team member engagement initiatives
    4. Assist HR Manager with employee training programs to enhance skills
  3. Safety Administration:
    1. Support the EHS Coordinator with compliance tracking, training logs, and safety documentation
    2. Schedule and document safety meetings, audits, and inspections
  4. Production & Data Entry:
    1. Enter daily production numbers and operational metrics into internal systems
    2. Work closely with production teams to ensure accurate reporting and record keeping
    3. Develop and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) in collaboration with the General Manager, Supervisors, Maintenance, and Safety
  5. Other duties as assigned based on overall company needs

Competencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, mobile apps and social networking.
  • Experience with ERP systems (ie. Netsuite)
  • Being bilingual in Spanish is a bonus, though not required.

Education and/or Experience
  • An associate's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in an office environment.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
