JOB DESCRIPTION
Assists team in executing on solutions that meet the complex needs of sophisticated practices, advisors, and/or firms. Contributes to assessing the needs of the field advisor teams in helping determine how the Retirement Disbursal Services team can meet those requests. Supports team in the execution of the service based on client’s financial plan and internal retirement-related algorithm. Provides ongoing support for the Retirement Disbursal Services Lead and other team members.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
 
    • Analyzes financial plans created by advisor teams to review the existing retirement strategy’s ability to function appropriately within Retirement Disbursal Services workflow.
    • Responsible for setting up and establishing servicing instructions, analyzing daily cash changes and following up with advisor teams when distribution cash is lower than their desired level. Assists in overseeing retirement algorithmic decisions using complex software when determining strategic client withdrawals.
    • Accountable for analyzing and efficiently preparing proposed investment trades to be presented to the field advisor teams.
    • Works with advisor team members to answer questions, research retirement software questions, follow-up on notifications and clarify ambiguous emails related to retirement distribution requests.
    • Assists internal team members with the ongoing Retirement Disbursal Services relationship with the advisor’s practice, which will include conducting regular check-ins on the experience and communicating feedback to Team Lead and other team members.
    • Partner with the appropriate areas within Product, digital product, Financial Planning Services and cross-functionally as required to execute on the Retirement Disbursal Services processes and procedures.
    • Responsible for inputting and tracking client’s retirement plan data and analyzing numbers to communicate findings within team and to leadership.
    • Produce quality reporting output in alignment with expectations, which may involve complex integrated analysis.
    • Participates in onboarding new advisor practices and continues to build the relationship over time.
    • Contribute input to the Retirement Disbursal Services overall effort, including being part of forward-thinking exercises to create efficiency, scalability, and higher level of service strategy discussions.

Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
    • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), series 6 or 7 preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of financial services experience including brokerage and advisory investment platforms, products, and services.
    • Proficient in Envestnet and Next360 preferred
    • Deep understanding of retirement service offerings and operational processes within the financial industry.
    • Experience consulting to sophisticated advisors/practices (ensembles, Fee-Based Planners, Private Client Group and Forum advisors/firms) with the ability to assess and understand how services and solutions may increase efficiencies and allow them to better serve clients.
    • Demonstrates impeccable accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Experience or extensive knowledge of retirement planning, personal finance, tax preparation and financial operations.
    • Ability to establish and manage repeatable operational processes as well as an ability to identify and implement process improvements.
    • High degree of self-motivation with leadership and initiative in sharing information, contributing towards group goals, and accepting responsibility for results.

Pay Details: $33.00 per hour
