Position Summary:
The Customer Manager is responsible for delivering dollar sales growth and profitable volume growth for BBU brands within assigned customer and market areas. This role drives business performance by analyzing marketplace trends, identifying growth opportunities, and developing strategic plans that align with both customer objectives and BBU priorities. The position is accountable for prioritizing and executing customer-focused initiatives that increase sales, strengthen partnerships, and maximize category growth and profitability.
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at multiple organizational levels to strengthen BBU brand presence and drive business growth across all markets.
  • Identify, develop, and recommend strategic business-building initiatives that align with customer objectives and BBU growth strategies.
  • Secure authorization and distribution for new products while gaining customer support for promotional activities and key marketing programs.
  • Sell and execute innovative merchandising solutions, including promotional and non-promotional display opportunities, to maximize visibility and sales.
  • Recommend, test, and implement merchandising enhancements designed to improve in-store execution, shopper engagement, and brand image.
  • Proactively identify and pursue growth opportunities using category insights, market data, and cross-functional resources.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate competitor activities, market trends, and emerging industry developments to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Customer Executive and Sales Leadership to develop and execute key customer business plans and growth initiatives.
  • Create effective promotional merchandising plans in collaboration with customers and communicate execution strategies to BBU sales teams.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer data to identify opportunities for profitable volume and revenue growth.
  • Ensure execution excellence by collaborating with internal teams across sales, operations, supply chain, category management, and marketing.
  • Travel up to 60%

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to develop business reviews, financial analyses, and executive presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute against deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
