Job description

Retail & Beauty Supply Experience Required – Beauty Supply Sales, Cashier & Customer Service Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking dynamic, energetic, and customer-focused team members to join our beauty supply store in both Customer Service Associate and Cashier roles. All positions will also involve working the sales floor.

In this role, you will serve as a frontline representative of the store, delivering excellent customer service, assisting with beauty product selection, and supporting sales of wigs, hair care products, extensions, and accessories. You will help create a welcoming, professional, and engaging shopping experience for every customer.

This is a fast-paced retail environment where strong communication, product knowledge, and a passion for beauty and hair care are essential. Compensation is based on experience and skill level, with opportunities for raises based on performance.


Positions Available

1. Customer Service Associate / Sales Floor Associate

  • Assist customers with product selection, especially wigs, hair bundles, extensions, and hair care products
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on hair type, style, and customer needs
  • Educate customers on human vs synthetic hair, wig construction, and maintenance
  • Support overall sales and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Maintain product knowledge of brands, styles, and beauty trends

2. Cashier / Sales Floor Support

  • Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and process payments
  • Provide friendly customer service at checkout
  • Assist on the sales floor when not actively cashiering
  • Help restock shelves, organize inventory, and support store presentation


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Work the sales floor to assist with product selection and recommendations
  • Answer customer questions in person and by phone
  • Support sales goals through product knowledge and upselling
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and product displays
  • Assist with inventory restocking and general store upkeep
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times


Qualifications & Skills

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation preferred
  • Must be a quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Retail or beauty supply experience preferred
  • Basic computer and cash handling skills preferred


Beauty Industry Requirements

Applicants must meet at least one of the following:

  • Minimum 1 year of beauty supply store experience, OR
  • Cosmetology license, OR
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of hair, wigs, and beauty products

Candidates should understand:

  • Hair types, textures, and styling methods
  • Wigs (lace front, closure, full wigs), bundles, and extensions
