Description of Job
Edgewood University is seeking Adjunct Nursing Instructors to join our undergraduate nursing programs. Rooted in the Dominican tradition, Edgewood University is committed to excellence in teaching and learning, with a strong emphasis on ethical leadership, community service, and fostering inclusive, student-centered education.
We are currently looking for individuals with expertise as lecturers or clinical instructors in one or more of the following areas:
  • Medical-Surgical Nursing
  • Maternal-Child Health
  • Psychosocial/Behavioral Health
  • Public Health
  • Adult Health
  • Perinatal & Pediatric Nursing
  • Pharmacology
  • Leadership & Healthcare Organizations
  • Evidence-Based Practice

Responsibilities
  • Teaching undergraduate nursing students in clinical or classroom settings.
  • Providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborating with course leads, full-time faculty, and department chairs to support student learning and course delivery.
  • Maintaining a supportive, inclusive, and professional learning environment.

Job Qualifications
Necessary Education or Work Experience
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or current enrollment in an MSN program.
  • Unencumbered Wisconsin RN license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • At least two years of full-time (or equivalent) direct patient care experience.
  • Previous teaching experience in an academic or professional setting preferred.
  • Experience in curriculum development and teaching methodologies preferred.
  • Strong multicultural competence and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment preferred.
