The Manager, Clinical Education plays a crucial role in developing and implementing orientation andeducational programs and initiatives to enhance the knowledge and skills of Central Health clinical team members.The role is responsible for designing, coordinating, and evaluating orientation and education activities to ensurethat nursing and allied health professionals are equipped with the latest industry practices and standards. TheManager, Clinical Education collaborates with various stakeholders within Central Health, including nursing leaders,and clinical educators, to achieve organizational goals and promote a culture of continuous learning andprofessional development.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:
Develop and implement educational programs: Design, develop, and implement educational programs and initiatives for nursing and clinical staff, in collaboration with the nursing and clinical leadership teams. These programs may include orientation programs for new hires, continuing education courses, competency assessments, and professional development workshops.
Curriculum Development: Develop and update nursing and allied health education curricula, incorporating evidence-based practices and regulatory requirements. Ensure alignment with organizational goals, standards, and policies.
Educational resources and materials: Develop and maintain educational resources, such as training manuals, online modules, and reference materials, to support nursing education programs. Collaborate with subject matter experts and educational technology specialists to incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies.
