Job description

Associate Medical Assistant Program Director

Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm and 1pm to 10 pm

Position Overview:

The Associate MA Program Director supports the MA Program Director in delivering high-quality education to students by overseeing curriculum development, instructional staff, and program operations. This role includes managing student progress, attendance, advising, and grade reporting, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support instructional staff

  • Assist in curriculum development and review with instructors and the advisory committee

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements

  • Monitor student progress and retention, offering support as needed

  • Assist with recruitment, training, and development of instructional staff

  • Maintain student and employee records and ensure adherence to academic policies

  • Help with program development and new course offerings

Instructor Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses using diverse methods and manage the classroom environment

  • Provide tutoring and academic advising to students

  • Grade assignments, provide feedback, and assess student progress

  • Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and a safe learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in medical assisting

  • Current Medical Assisting Certification and CPR Certification

  • 3+ years of direct patient care experience
