Hours: As needed between M-F 6:30am - 6:30pm
Responsibilitiesย 

ย As a Child care Substitute Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:ย 
  • Assist lead Teachers in classroom management ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
  • Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebreeโ€™s curriculum.
  • ย Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
  • Assist and supervise children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
  • Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
  • ย Present a positive and professional image at all times adhering to uniform requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their childโ€™s development and classroom happenings.
Requirement
  • English speaking is a must.
  • Childcare experience minimum 1 year
  • Two years' experience as assistant teacher preferred.
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, loving and with passion to work with kids.
  • Effective communication skills verbal and written.ย 
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid. Ability and flexibility in working with various age groups.ย 
Physical Demands
The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.ย  Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching, lifting, and carrying; ability to lift 50 pounds.
