We are accepting applications for the position of Curriculum Assistant Principal at Jones Middle School. All applicants must follow one of the following processes:
Process for Out of District Applicants: Out of district applicants are required to complete an on-line application. All requested documents as indicated in the posting must be uploaded to the application.
Process for District Employees: District employees must complete an online administrative application in Frontline. If an employee does not already have an application in Frontline, they will need to create a new user ID and password to apply for the specific position.
Applicants for this position must have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in educational administration
  • General qualifications of a teacher and principal, administrators, mid-management, or other appropriate Texas certificate
  • Certified appraiser for the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) or must be obtained within 3 months of start date
  • Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL) certificate or its equivalent Instructional Leadership Development (ILD or ILT) or must be obtained within 3 months of start date
  • Minimum three (3) years successful experience as a teacher
  • Minimum two (2) years' successful campus level administrative experience as an assistant principal preferred
