THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking a Kitchen Culinary Medicine Nutritionist to bridge nutrition science with culinary creativity. Unlike traditional clinical roles, this position places you at the heart of our experiential kitchen, collaborating with chefs to design therapeutic meals, leading hands-on education, and consulting with guests to help them achieve their wellness goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Culinary Medicine Partnership (40%)

Collaborate with Executive Chef to create pathway-aligned therapeutic meals

Develop nutrient-dense, flavorful recipes

Ensure compliance with dietary and therapeutic standards

Analyze nutritional profiles of menu items

Educational Leadership (30%)

Co-lead interactive cooking demonstrations

Teach nutrition science through engaging culinary experiences

Develop guest-facing recipe cards and educational content

Inspire guests to apply food-as-medicine principles at home

Guest Consultation & Support (15%)

Provide personalized nutrition consultations

Customize meal recommendations for wellness goals and dietary restrictions

Offer follow-up support and recipe adaptations

Additional Contributions (15%)

Support wellness workshops and events

Research new therapeutic ingredients and trends

Maintain continuing education in nutrition and culinary medicine

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications

RD/CNS credential (non-negotiable)

Bachelor’s in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field

2+ years clinical nutrition experience

Culinary experience and passion for food preparation

Strong interest in functional and therapeutic nutrition

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s in Nutrition, Food Science, or Culinary Medicine

Advanced certifications (Functional Medicine, Integrative Nutrition, Culinary Medicine)

Experience in culinary medicine, therapeutic cooking, or guest education

Core Competencies

Clinical nutrition and therapeutic diet planning expertise

Strong cooking and recipe development skills

Confident teaching and public speaking abilities
