Job description

The Lexi Las Vegas is seeking a passionate, creative, and operationally driven Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead the culinary direction of our growing boutique hotel. This role is ideal for a hands-on culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is excited to help shape a unique food & beverage experience from the ground up.


As the Chef/Kitchen Manager, you will oversee all kitchen operations, menu execution, food quality, personnel, inventory, sanitation, and cost controls while helping elevate the guest experience through thoughtful, consistent, and high-quality culinary offerings.

Compensation:

$60,000 - $80,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily kitchen operations, including prep, line execution, ordering, inventory, scheduling, and cleanliness
  • Develop and maintain efficient kitchen systems and SOPs
  • Ensure consistency, presentation, and quality of all food items
  • Manage food cost, labor cost, waste reduction, and inventory controls
  • Hire, train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff while fostering a positive team culture
  • Maintain compliance with all SNHD health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation practices
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership on seasonal menus, specials, events, and operational improvements
  • Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and communicate repair needs proactively
  • Assist with banquet, group, buyout, and special event culinary execution
  • Uphold high hospitality standards and contribute to an elevated guest experience

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of kitchen leadership experience as an Executive Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Executive Chef
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, inventory systems, labor management, and food costing
  • Experience in boutique hotels, upscale casual, high-volume, or experiential dining environments preferred
  • Ability to lead by example in both execution and professionalism
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • ServSafe Manager Certification, SNHD Food Manager card, and TAM card are mandatory
  • Experience with ordering systems, prep pars, scheduling, and vendor management
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a growing operational environment
