Job description

Woodifeld Boca Raton is seeking a Culinary Supervisor responsible for all food production in designated outlets who will ensure that all food items are being prepared according to the club's recipes and standards. Ensure that quality and cost standards are consistently attained. The supervisor maintains a well organized kitchen with high standards of sanitation and acts as a supervisor in all food and beverage outlets to the kitchen staff.

Regularly communicate with the FOH managers and supervisors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following: Prepares and directly supervises kitchen staff responsible for the daily preparation of all food items. Checks mise en place before service time and inspects presentation of food items to ensure that quality standards are met.

Consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, eye appeal and flavor of food. Coordinates food service involving communication between kitchen and service staff. Attends all shift meetings.

Personally works in any station as assigned by the Executive Chef. Finds creative ways to utilize food scraps, items from freezer and main kitchen. Supervises kitchen personnel, to assure highest productivity and professional conduct.

Maintains highest level of sanitation standards at all times. Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations. Ensures that all work areas are safe and secure; reports any unsafe conditions to supervisor.
