The opening we have:
Consumer Lending Specialist
The work you will participate in:
  • In this position you will be responsible for processing loan applications through various origination channels (incoming phone calls, third party vendors, online etc.)
  • Review loans for decision and relay decisions to borrowers
  • Prepare loan documents, schedule loan closings and process loan closings/disbursements
  • Process loans through the indirect lending channel (CUDL)
  • Answer incoming phone calls from members calling in regarding consumer loan requests.
  • Provide lending support, assistance, and training to our branch network
  • Assist Consumer Lending in meeting its goals by participating in sales promotions and competitions which includes inbound and outbound sales campaigns

The Skills We Want:
  • Prior lending experience is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Pride in producing quality work, demonstrable attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational, time management skills; must be adaptable to constant change.
  • Experience with sales expectations, success in cross selling complementary products and services
  • Team player with a positive attitude, dependable and flexible

This is a hybrid position that allows flexibility to work at home but does require some in office processing from time to time. Schedule to be coordinated in advance.
