Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Grow revenue for the organization through the addition of new credit union client accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Proactively identify, research, and prospect targeted credit unions using a consultative, relationship-driven approach across phone, email, direct mail, social media, referrals, and industry networks.
  • Develop a strong understanding of credit union operating models and strategic priorities to position CUSO solutions as collaborative, credit union-owned alternatives to traditional vendors.
  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline by aligning prospective credit union needs, financial objectives, and growth strategies with the CUSO's products and services.
  • Represent the CUSO at industry conferences, league meetings, trade shows, and chapter events, serving as a knowledgeable ambassador of the organization's mission and value proposition.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored demonstrations and presentations to credit union executives while clearly communicating operational, financial, and strategic benefits.
  • Execute timely, organized follow-up throughout the sales cycle and successfully close new business.
  • Collaborate closely with the onboarding team, operations, implementation, and client-success teams to support long-term adoption and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and transparent documentation of all sales activities, opportunities, and communications within the CRM to support forecasting and reporting.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare and deliver timely weekly and monthly reports summarizing sales activities, pipeline status, and progress toward goals.
  • Consistently and accurately utilize the company CRM system to document prospecting activities, client interactions, and sales-related information.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, understand, and effectively present company products and services.
  • Strong relationship-based sales skills, including disciplined follow-up and pipeline management.
  • Confidence and professionalism when speaking and presenting to individuals or groups of varying sizes, including executive-level audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to grammar, spelling, and clarity.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills, professional phone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of the credit union, automotive, mortgage, and financial services industries preferred.

EDUCATION (or Equivalent Experience):
  • A college degree is preferred but not a requirement.
  • 5+ years of credit union industry and/or sales experience.

Salary plus commission
