Job description

2nd Shift Sit Down Forklift Operator

Must have at least 1 year of both sit down forklift and reach truck experience to be considered for this 2nd Shift Sit Down Forklift Operator opportunity! If you're looking for a role where you can put your forklift skills to work with a company that specializes in cold storage warehousing, this could be a great fit.

This company provides temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution services, helping ensure products are stored and shipped safely. You'll work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures while playing an important role in keeping inventory moving accurately and efficiently. This is a temporary opportunity that offers steady hours, competitive pay, and the chance to build your warehouse experience with a safety-focused team.
As a 2nd Shift Sit Down Forklift Operator, you'll safely transport, store, and retrieve products while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting daily warehouse operations.

2nd Shift Sit Down Forklift Operator Duties:
  • Operate sit down forklifts, reach trucks, and other powered industrial equipment to move, load, unload, and store materials.
  • Transport products safely throughout the warehouse, including cold storage areas with varying temperatures.
  • Scan inventory and maintain accurate warehouse records using handheld scanners or a warehouse management system.
  • Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns.
  • Follow all safety procedures while assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.
Schedule:
  • 2nd Shift
  • Monday through Friday
  • 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Pay:
$19.50 per hour

2nd Shift Sit Down Forklift Operator Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of sit down forklift experience is required.
  • At least 1 year of reach truck experience is required.
  • Must be able to successfully complete forklift certification training.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse with varying temperatures, including cold storage.
