Job description

Summary:
Administer for enterprise wide digital systems including but not limited to inventory management, labor scheduling, catering systems, recipe maintenance and associated integrations. Handles user and security administration within the system. Leads user acceptance testing and provides support to pilot restaurants. Supports Training departments and Help Desk teams by maintaining documentation. Provides support to restaurant managers with the use of the system.
Job Description:
  • Leads in maintenance and updates to digital restaurant technologies.
  • Collaborates with corporate leadership to identify, evaluate and implement digital technology solutions.
  • Manage relationship with vendors and products
  • Oversees recipe maintenance
  • Manage electronic interfaces with distributors to update order guides and bid sheets
  • Ensure the successful transmission and receipt of electronic orders and invoices
  • Lead internal troubleshooting of system issues with IT Help Desk
  • Lead external troubleshooting to resolve any reported issues and manage the escalation of issues to the vendor support system
  • Oversee system administration including user logins and security, restaurants, reporting hierarchies and other key system tables
  • Coordinate the installation, testing and evaluation of solutions in a lab environment
  • Manage the deployment of selected solutions to the restaurants
  • Work with the Operations teams to develop effective labor scheduling templates
  • Support the Training teams for development of training materials and system roll-out
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and support the pilot restaurants
  • Provide hands-on management and delivery of multiple projects to meet technology and business requirements on time and within budget
  • Develop knowledgebase articles to be used by the Help Desk for addressing commonly asked questions and resolving simple issues
  • Ensure technical documentation for the department is written for reference during trouble-shooting and future systems development
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may negatively impact a project or project deliverable; document and communicate status, escalate as appropriate
  • Answer calls from restaurant managers regarding problems or questions about the system
  • Develop and maintain reports and ad hoc queries as appropriate
  • Keep abreast of new technologies; evaluate and report on new technologies and initiatives as directed by IT Management
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company material and information
  • Keep manager and other key personnel informed of assignment and system status via timely communication and weekly written status reports.
  • Weekends, holiday and nighttime support will be required as necessary. Occasional travel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to quickly learn and maneuver in systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-directed, highly organized and able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in order to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong customer service ethic - must understand and agree that our job is to make the other employees' lives easier so that they can do the best job possible serving our customers
  • Crunchtime, R365, Harri experience preferred.
