Job description

CRUNCH FITNESS – Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement
REPORTS TO:  Vice President, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement
WORK LOCATION: New York City, Hybrid
Who We Are

Crunch Fitness is a rapidly expanding fitness brand with more than 600 franchised and corporate-owned gyms across the United States and internationally.

Our unfiltered philosophy of No Judgments drives us to create welcoming gyms and communities for everyone. We make serious fitness fun by combining exercise, entertainment, and innovation.

As one of the fastest-growing brands in the fitness industry, Crunch offers the opportunity to join a high-growth organization where professional development and career advancement are plentiful. Together, we are redefining the fitness experience.
Your Impact

As the Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, you will play a key role in shaping and executing sourcing and procurement strategies that create measurable business value across Crunch's Corporate Clubs and Franchise network. You will leverage the scale of the Crunch system to negotiate favorable supplier agreements, optimize spending, generate incremental revenue, and strengthen strategic vendor partnerships.
This role offers the opportunity to influence business decisions, improve operational performance, and support organizational growth through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and sponsorship partnership initiatives.
Main Accountabilities

  • Negotiate supplier agreements, including pricing and commercial terms, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), to maximize value for Crunch and its Franchisees.
  • Establish preferred pricing, rebate programs, warranty coverage, payment terms, and service-level commitments by leveraging the collective purchasing power of the Crunch network.
  • Drive cost savings, cost avoidance, and incremental revenue opportunities through strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Design, Equipment, Construction, Operations, Experience, and other business leaders to evaluate vendors and develop purchasing programs for Corporate Clubs and Franchisees.
  • Manage and maintain the vendor contract repository, ensuring accurate documentation and accessibility of key commercial terms and agreements.
  • Lead competitive sourcing initiatives utilizing RFIs, RFPs, and pricing analyses to evaluate suppliers and optimize Crunch's vendor portfolio.
  • Develop, monitor, and report procurement KPIs, including spend management, cost savings, supplier performance, revenue generation, and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Analyze purchasing and spend data across the network to identify opportunities for cost optimization, supplier consolidation, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement procurement best practices, governance, tools, and Center of Excellence (COE) processes to support scalability and organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with leadership, Franchisees, and internal stakeholders to develop data-driven sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation criteria, and procurement performance metrics.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and contract lifecycle reviews with key suppliers to evaluate performance, strengthen partnerships, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain procurement project pipelines and reporting tools to track sourcing opportunities, implementation milestones, risks, and key deliverables.
  • Audit supplier invoices and purchasing activity to ensure compliance with negotiated agreements and validate realization of contracted savings, rebates, and supplier commitments.
  • Lead vendor partnership and sponsorship initiatives, overseeing contract negotiations, budget management, revenue generation, and ongoing relationship management to maximize sponsor engagement and financial performance.
  • Serve as the primary vendor engagement lead for the bi-annual Franchise Convention (70–100 participating vendor companies) or Owners Summit (30–50 participating vendor companies), partnering with Event Planning Leads to develop and execute a comprehensive vendor engagement strategy that delivers exceptional partner experiences while supporting organizational objectives.
  • Own the end-to-end vendor engagement program related to Corporate Sponsorships & Events, balancing vendor partnership goals with corporate priorities by anticipating business needs, evaluating tradeoffs, mitigating risks, exercising sound judgment, and recommending strategic solutions that optimize event outcomes.
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage customized Annual Corporate Sponsorship packages, ensuring contracted benefits, financial commitments, deliverables, and activation opportunities maximize value for both vendors and the organization.
What Success Looks Like

  • Deliver measurable cost savings, cost avoidance, rebates, and revenue generation through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
  • Establish strong supplier partnerships that improve service levels, operational efficiency, and long-term business value.
  • Create scalable procurement processes, governance, and tools that support the continued growth of the organization.
  • Successfully negotiate supplier agreements that balance commercial value, quality, service, and risk mitigation.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities, track results, and drive continuous improvement in sourcing performance.
  • Successfully launch and manage vendor programs that achieve elevated levels of adoption and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with contractual commitments and maximize realization of negotiated financial benefits.
  • Grow sponsorship revenue and vendor engagement through strategic partnership management and successful event sponsorship programs.
  • Build trusted relationships across Corporate Clubs, Franchisees, leadership, and supplier partners through effective communication and execution.
What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, supplier relationship management, sponsorship management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing strategic supplier relationships.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen with experience evaluating spend, contracts, supplier performance, and revenue opportunities.
  • Experience driving cost savings, operational improvements, and measurable business outcomes through procurement initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive results.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Initiative-taker with strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Experience supporting multi-unit, franchise, fitness, hospitality, retail, or consumer-facing organizations preferred.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, strategic sourcing methodologies, RFIs, RFPs, contract management, and supplier performance management.
