CrowdStrike Analyst (Tier 1) – Charleston, SC

Clearance Required: DoD Secret
Certification Required: IAM Level I (Security+, CAP, or GISF)

About the Role

BreakPoint Labs is seeking a CrowdStrike Analyst to serve as the frontline interface between CSSP subscribers and our Endpoint Security team. In this Tier 1 role, you will monitor the CrowdStrike Falcon console, perform initial triage of security alerts, and provide responsive, customer‐focused support for endpoint security issues across a diverse mission environment.

This position is ideal for an early‐career cybersecurity or IT professional who thrives in a structured, fast‐paced operational setting and is ready to contribute to a high‐impact defensive mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first responder for customer support requests submitted through the service desk (ServiceNow).
  • Monitor the CrowdStrike Falcon detection queue and provide Tier 1 support for endpoint security inquiries.
  • Perform initial triage of low‐to‐medium severity alerts using established playbooks and procedures.
  • Accurately document findings, categorize detections, and maintain detailed case notes.
  • Escalate complex technical issues, unresolved user problems, and potential security incidents to senior operators.
  • Assist with compliance activities, including running predefined reports, tracking task completion, and maintaining audit‐ready documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members using MS Teams, Confluence, and SharePoint to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in IT help desk, customer support, or similar technical support role.
  • Hands‐on experience with a ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer‐service mindset.
  • Ability to follow structured procedures, checklists, and playbooks with high attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills for initial problem assessment and categorization.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with basic host‐based security tools and EDR concepts (desired).
  • Experience with MS Teams, Confluence, and SharePoint (desired).
  • IAM Level I certification (Security+, CAP, or GISF).
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Associate degree in a related field.
