Role: CRM Technical Lead

Location: Cleveland OH – Fulltime Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end technical strategy and implementation for CRM capabilities (customer onboarding, journeys, sales automation, campaigns, support workflows).
  • Lead a team of developers to design, develop and deploy robust, scalable and secure software solutions in compliance with enterprise standards
  • Translate product goals and customer needs into scalable, high-performance architecture and clean code.
  • Collaborate with the product owner and squad members to define stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide hands-on engineering leadership—write code, conduct code reviews, and remove blockers.
  • Drive integration with core banking, data lakes, marketing platforms, and third-party CRM solutions.
  • Ensure platform security, performance, compliance, and auditability in line with financial regulations.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture, data governance, security, and DevOps teams to align with broader tech strategy.
  • Mentor engineers in design patterns, test automation, and clean code practices.
  • Support release planning, capacity estimation, and iterative delivery through Agile ceremonies.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and improve team skills.
  • Provide direction and recommendations on solutions for security vulnerabilities
  • Represent Security variances in Security Technology review meetings.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure system scalability, reliability, availability.
  • Drive high standards for code quality, testing and documentation.
  • Provide recommendations for tools and develop plans and strategies to improve overall hygiene for code development, delivery and release practices.
  • Continue to develop a culture of modern software development practices.
  • Own the applications and operational system tasks associated with the applications.
  • Ensure seamless communication between development teams, other departments such as QA, Enterprise Architecture etc.
  • Ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.

Skills:

  • Solid experience with Oracle Siebel (25.1 and higher) and exposure / exposure to modern CRM ecosystems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Pega, or custom-built platforms).
  • Experience with Siebel installation, ecosystem and infrastructure.
  • Solid backend engineering experience (Java/.NET/Node.js preferred). Front-end familiarity (React/Angular) is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of integration patterns: APIs (REST/GraphQL), messaging (Kafka/MQ), ETL pipelines.
  • Strong Relational Database experience (SQL, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs), campaign management tools, and personalization engines.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, code management (bitbucket, Gitlab), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure.
  • Utilized code review tools such as SonarQube.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Mocha etc.
  • Experience working in Agile squads using Scrum or Kanban.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and DevOps tools.
  • Comfort working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Financial services or regulated industry experience is a strong plus.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
  • 7+ years of experience with Oracle Siebel and exposure / experience with modern CRM ecosystems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Pega, or custom-built platforms).
  • 5+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL.
  • 2+ years of experience in a tech lead role demonstrating leadership and team management skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in banking / finance industry.
