GST is seeking a skilled AV Control System Programmer who is passionate about creating intuitive, highperforming AV solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and deploy control system code, user interfaces, DSP configurations, and integrated AV solutions used by enterprise clients, educational institutions, and government partners.

This position offers a dynamic blend of handson system programming, inhouse testing, and onsite commissioning. You'll work with cuttingedge technology while collaborating with engineering, project management, and client teams to deliver integrated AV solutions.  What You'll Do

  • Program, test, and deploy control systems on Crestron, AMX, and Extron platforms
  • Design intuitive and consistent touch panel user interfaces
  • Develop custom modules, device drivers, and automation logic
  • Configure and tune DSP platforms (Biamp, QSC, BSS, etc.)
  • Review AV drawings, schematics, and signal flow diagrams
  • Perform inhouse testing and onsite commissioning, verification, and acceptance testing
  • Troubleshoot integrated AV, control, and network systems
  • Support project teams, manufacturers, and clients as needed
  • Maintain programming documentation, standards, and version control
  • Travel to job sites as required

 Qualifications

Education/ Experience & Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of Crestron or AMX programming in commercial AV environments
  • Handson experience with AV control systems, video conferencing, switching hardware, AVoverIP and -DSP setup/calibration
  • Strong understanding of audio DSP setup, tuning, and calibration
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex AV, control, and network issues

 Required Certifications

  • Harman Certified Control Professional (CP)
  • Extron GC-Pro
  • Crestron and/or AMX programming certifications

Preferred Certifications

  • CTS or CTSD
  • Advanced Crestron, Extron, or AMX certifications
  • Networking certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+)
