Position Overview:
As part of the talented Finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing credit risk management and collections across both the U.S. and international markets. The role manages a portfolio of approximately 3,000 high-valued customers and leads a team of six credit analysts. The successful candidate will be a seasoned credit professional with a proven ability to collaborate with key accounts, finance partners, and sales leadership to mitigate risk, optimize cash flow, and support revenue growth within established guidelines.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of credit analysts, promoting high performance and professional growth.
  • Develop, implement and execute strategies to optimize collections and ensure effective management of accounts receivable, including direct negotiation of payment arrangements and settlements with customers.
  • Oversee the credit application and approval process for both new and existing customers, including regular review of accounts receivable balances and allowance for doubtful accounts; ensure processes are efficient, effective, and consistently applied.
  • Manage legal, collection and bankruptcy matters by monitoring at-risk accounts, overseeing related correspondence, and negotiating resolutions or settlements as required.
  • Performs enterprise-level analysis of key accounts receivable and collection metrics, including aging reports, to proactively identify and mitigate payment and credit risk.
  • Establish performance objective, conduct formal evaluations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support employee development and accountability.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement across the credit function.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive credit-related reporting, including aging, DSO, AR exposure, allowance for doubtful accounts, and balance sheet analytics.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, audits requirements, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline
  • Strong leadership experience with an emphasis on relationship management and communication at all levels within an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with highly diverse cultures and personalities across the organization globally.
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Strong PC skills with intermediate to advanced excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of credit and collection experience
  • Exposure to Oracle ERP
  • Experience in/exposure to Credit/IT Systems Implementation

The anticipated pay range for this position is 86,500 - 126,800 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
