Job description

We are now hiring for a Credit Clerk for a company in New Braunfels, TX. Please submit your resume to this posting and call our office at 830-629-2525. 

Pay: $18.75/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Position Summary: 
Credit Assistant responsibilities include data entry, contacting customers, sales team regarding their credit applications to determine experience in industry by phone, and/or email; resolving customer complaints; fulfilling clerical duties which may include filing, credit releases, credit and haul references, research and other duties determined by the Credit Manager. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides administrative support for the credit department including taking phone calls, working return mail, trade references, monitor weekly and cash accounts and joint check agreements. 
  • Review and process all incoming customer credit applications.
  • Accumulate information from trade references, external credit agencies and banks. 
  • Maintain and update customer files as needed.
  • Customer creation and maintenance in Company database.
  • Knowledge of lien, bond waivers and releases.
  • Knowledge of Texas Lien law and generating monthly lien notices to subcontractors, general contractors and owners. 
  • Completes high volume incoming credit calls and collection calls.
  • Reconciles customer accounts and cash applications.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
