Job description

Physician Assistant - Bountiful & Tooele - Part Time

Actively seeking a part-time Physician Assistant to join our Allergy, Asthma & Immunology department in Bountiful and Tooele clinics. This person will work collaboratively with out physicians to evaluate, diagnose, and manage pediatric and adult patients with allergic, respiratory, and immunologic conditions.

The provider will be responsible for patient evaluations, follow-up care, medication management, treatment planning, and patient education. This is a unique opportunity that blends the benefits and stability of a larger organization while working in an environment similar to a private practice that values your expertise, autonomy, and ability to provide high-quality patient care.

Schedule: Part-time schedule: 2 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating and managing patients with asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, food allergies, urticaria, immunodeficiency disorders, and other allergic conditions.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Prescribing and managing medications, including biologic therapies.
  • Reviewing diagnostic testing, laboratory results, and allergy testing.
  • Complete 3 month training with physician.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Appropriate and applicable licensure, education and certification as a Physician Assistant in the state of Utah.
  • Proper insurance credentialing prior to patient treatment
  • Board Certification/Eligible
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
