Job description

Overview
Lutron has an immediate opening for a Senior Visual Design Project Manager to join the Communications team at our Conshohocken office location. As the function responsible for creative development and execution, the Communications team partners with the marketing teams to develop compelling and on-brand marketing materials. As a Senior Visual Design Project Manager, you will coordinate the project lifecycle of digital and print marketing materials. You will partner with Program Mangers and Creative Leadership to evaluate incoming work, clarify requirements, establish priorities, and ensure projects are appropriately scoped before entering the creative workflow. As the function leader, you will manage the workload and resources of the visual design team and be responsible for reviewing and assigning tasks and goals on a daily and weekly basis.
For this role, the Senior Visual Design Project Manager will also have a strong influence over the entire project management process as we build more effective and efficient ways of working. You will be a champion of team collaboration, integrating efficiency with company initiatives and proactively providing team support.
Responsibilities
Creative Operations
  • Own the day-to-day workflow and capacity planning for the Visual Design team, ensuring work is prioritized appropriately and aligned to business objectives.
  • Partner closely with Art Direction and Program Management to understand project requirements and develop execution plans that support successful delivery.
  • Balance competing priorities across multiple business units, campaigns, and initiatives while maintaining visibility into team workload and capacity.
  • Provide department leadership with clear visibility into project demand, resource constraints, and upcoming delivery risks

Project Execution & Delivery
  • Manage the execution of digital and print marketing projects from intake through final delivery, ensuring alignment with project scope, timelines, and business objectives.
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status reviews, and cross-functional discussions to ensure stakeholders and the creative team remain aligned throughout project execution.
  • Monitor project health, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and obstacles while driving resolution plans with stakeholders and the creative team.
  • Ensure project priorities, schedules, and deliverables are clearly communicated and consistently maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Creative Team Partnership
  • Collaborate with Creative Leadership and Program Management to develop realistic project plans that balance business priorities, creative quality, and team capacity.
  • Support Art Directors in managing project assignments and ensuring resources are deployed effectively across initiatives.

Workflow & Process Excellence
  • Own and maintain project management tools, documentation, workflows, and reporting processes that support efficient project execution.
  • Develop and implement operational best practices that improve visibility, accountability, resource utilization, and overall team effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate team processes and identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and increase throughput.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Visual Design, or related field required
  • Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA required
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing projects for a wide variety of marketing materials in an agency or corporate creative setting required
  • Experience using Workfront or other project management platforms preferred
  • Knowledge about the development and design of online sites preferred
